A.C.A. PUERTO PIRÁMIDES

Puerto Pirámides is an Argentine town in Viedma Department, Province of Chubut. Its population at the 2001 census [INDEC] was 429 inhabitants. It is the only town on the Valdes Peninsula. It began in 1898 when the inland salinas were exploited for salt.

As you enter Puerto Pirámides, you'll immediately notice the quaint, laid-back atmosphere. This small village is home to just a few hundred residents, making it the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The town's main attraction is undoubtedly its beautiful beach, which stretches for miles along the coastline. Whether you're looking to soak up some sun or take a refreshing dip in the ocean, you'll find plenty of opportunities to do so here.

But Puerto Pirámides isn't just a beach destination. The town is also known for its incredible wildlife, particularly its resident population of southern right whales. These gentle giants can be seen swimming just off the coast from June to December, making Puerto Pirámides one of the best places in the world to witness these magnificent creatures up close.
