Agritur Melango is a working farm in Castelfondo, 28 km from Kaltern. It offers colourful rooms in a historic 17th century building. The farm produces apples and cherries, which can be enjoyed on site.
The rooms all come with wooden furnishings, tiled floors, and a beamed ceiling. The private bathroom includes a shower.
Breakfast is served in the morning. Guests of the Melango have access to a ski and luggage storage room.
The Mendel mountain pass, also known as Passo della Mendoal, can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Mezzolombardo is 37 km away.

Fondo was a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Trento, precisely at the northern limit of the Val di Non. On 1 January 2020, it was merged with the municipalities of Castelfondo and Malosco to create the comune of Borgo d'Anaunia. Fondo bordered the following municipalities: Brez, Castelfondo, Malosco, Ronzone, Sarnonico, Eppan and Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde-St. Felix.
