Set on the edge of Mount Etna Regional Park, Antico Borgo Petralia is actually an ancient hamlet that opened to the public in 2011. It features a pretty courtyard, garden and swimming pool.

Zafferana Etnea is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 160 kilometres (99 mi) southeast of Palermo and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of Catania.
Located on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna, Zafferana Etnea is a small town that offers breathtaking views of the volcano and the Ionian Sea. The town is known for its exquisite honey production, which is celebrated during the annual Honey Festival held in September.
