Photos, information and travel guides for your stay.

Rovinj is a town in west Croatia situated on the north Adriatic Sea with a population of 12,968 (2021). Located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula, it is a popular tourist resort and beach destination, in addition to being an active fishing port. Istriot, a Romance language once widely spoken in this part of Istria, is still spoken by some of the residents. The town is officially bilingual, Croatian and Italian, hence both town names are official and equal.

As you explore the town, you'll be greeted with colorful buildings, cobblestone streets, and breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Rovinj is a small town, but it's packed with history and culture. The town's main attraction is the Old Town, where you can wander through narrow streets and alleys, marvel at the architecture of the buildings, and visit the stunning St. Euphemia's Basilica.

Another highlight of Rovinj is the stunning beaches. Whether you're looking for a relaxing day in the sun or an adventurous day of water sports, Rovinj has it all. Some of the most popular beaches in town include Lone Bay, Cuvi Beach, and Mulini Beach.
