About the property

Ardwyn is an artistic guest house built in the early 1900s. It has a creative atmosphere with plenty of arts and crafts.

There are Art Nouveau touches around the house, from the rolltop baths to the light fittings. The bedrooms have double-aspect views, stylish designs and good bathrooms.

Llanwrtyd Wells is a market town and community in Powys, Wales, in the historic county of Brecknockshire (Breconshire) on the Afon Irfon. The town is on the A483 between Llandovery and Builth Wells and is located near the pass between the Tywi and Irfon valleys.

Llanwrtyd Wells is a small town with a population of just over 800 people. Despite its size, the town is rich in history and has a strong sense of community. The town came to prominence in the 18th century, when its natural springs were discovered to have healing properties. People from all over the country flocked to the town to drink the water and bathe in the springs, and the town quickly became known as a spa town.
