At The River

Dundee is the fourth-largest city in Scotland. The 2020 mid-year population estimate for the locality was 148,210. It lies within the eastern central Lowlands on the north bank of the Firth of Tay, which feeds into the North Sea.

Dundee is a city known for its rich maritime heritage, and its port has played a crucial role in the city's development over the years. For instance, the city's waterfront area has undergone extensive redevelopment in recent years, with the creation of the V&A Dundee museum being one of the highlights of this transformation. The museum, which opened in 2018, is a stunning piece of architecture that celebrates the city's design heritage while showcasing contemporary design from around the world.

Aside from the V&A Dundee, there are plenty of other attractions to explore in the city. History buffs will love the Dundee Law viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the city and the River Tay. The city is also home to several museums, such as the Dundee Science Centre and the McManus Art Gallery and Museum, which showcase the city's diverse cultural offerings.
