Bruges is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders, in the Flemish Region of Belgium. It is located in the northwest of the country, and is the sixth most populous city in Belgium. The predominant language is Dutch.
As soon as you arrive in Bruges, you'll be transported back in time to the Middle Ages. The city is famous for its well-preserved historic center, which has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cobblestone streets, the canals, and the beautiful architecture will make you feel like you're in a fairytale.
One of the best ways to explore Bruges is on foot or by bike. The city is relatively small, so you can easily walk or bike around and see all the sights. You'll find many beautiful buildings, such as the Belfry Tower, which offers stunning views of the city from the top. Another must-see is the Basilica of the Holy Blood, which houses a relic of Jesus' blood.
