Nestled in the southern tip of the country, Villa San Giovanni is a small town that packs a big punch. As soon as you arrive, you'll be struck by the stunning views of the sea and the impressive Mount Etna in the distance. The town's location on the Strait of Messina also makes it a popular spot for ferry travel to and from Sicily.

But there's more to Villa San Giovanni than just its location. The town itself is full of history and culture, with ancient ruins dating back to the Greek and Roman eras. One of the most impressive sites to visit is the ruins of the Roman Villa of Tito Proculo, which give a glimpse into the luxurious lifestyle of the wealthy in ancient times.
