Perched on a slope overlooking paddy fields, Bamboo Retreat offers rooms decorated according to Feng Shui themes. It offers wellness facilities like a private meditation room and hot stone baths.

Fitted with a fan, rooms are designed using colours symbolising the Chinese Feng Shui elements: earth, wind, water, fire and metal. Enjoying views of Nathula and the Eastern Sikkim-Himalayas, rooms come with a TV and hot water showers.

Gangtok is the capital and the most populous city of the Indian state of Sikkim. The seat of eponymous district, Gangtok is in the eastern Himalayan range, at an elevation of 1,650 m (5,410 ft). The city's population of 100,000 consists of the three Sikkimese ethnicities: the Bhutias, Lepchas, Indian Gorkhas as well as plainsmen from other states of India.
