Pushkar is an ancient temple town located on the shore of Pushkar Lake near Ajmer City and headquarters of Pushkar tehsil in the Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is situated about 10 km (6.2 mi) northwest of Ajmer and about 150 km southwest of Jaipur. The town lies at an elevation of about 510 metres and is surrounded by hills on three sides, with Nag Pahar forming a natural boundary between Ajmer and Pushkar.

Nestled in the heart of Rajasthan, Pushkar is a small town that is known for its vibrant culture, stunning architecture, and religious significance. The town is home to one of the most famous Hindu temples in India, the Brahma Temple, which attracts thousands of pilgrims every year.

Apart from its religious significance, Pushkar is also famous for its annual Pushkar Camel Fair, which is a vibrant celebration of rural life in India. During the fair, the town comes alive with the colors and sounds of folklore, as thousands of camels and livestock are traded, and cultural events take place.
