Camping at Le Clos Castel

Located in Raids, just a 30-minute drive from the D-Day landing beaches, Camping at Le Clos Castel offers a quiet, rural site with 6 gravel pitches and an additional camping area. There is a communal TV lounge and games room with a pool table. WiFi access in some areas and parking on site are provided free of charge.

The site offers toilets, free hot showers and wash handbasins as well as a communal dishwashing sink outside. Cartridge toilets can be emptied on site but must use Green fluids as all waste is dealt with via Fosse Septique. There are no motorhome accessible drainage points at present.

Well-behaved pets are welcome but must be kept under control at all times, the site is bordered on all sides but is not escape-proof.

Additional features can include free indoor motorbike and bicycle parking on site, please ensure prior notice is given if required. The small town of Periers is 5 km away and Carentan is 14 km from the property, both host weekly markets. A little further away are the historic Bayeux, the beautiful Suisse Normande, Mont St Michel and of course Caen which was almost entirely reconstructed after WWII.
