Netanya, or Natanya, is a city in the Central District of Israel, and is the capital of the surrounding Sharon plain. It is 30 kilometres (20 mi) north of Tel Aviv, and 56 km (35 mi) south of Haifa, between the Poleg stream and the Wingate Institute in the south and the Avihayil stream in the north. The 14 km of beaches have made the city a popular tourist resort.

Located along the Mediterranean coast, Netanya boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in Israel, with crystal clear waters and soft sand. Whether you're looking to relax under the sun or enjoy an array of water sports, Netanya has it all. You can take a stroll on the famous Sironit Beach, which is known for its lively atmosphere and bustling promenade. Or, if you prefer a quieter beach experience, head over to Poleg Beach, which offers a more tranquil ambiance.

Apart from its beaches, Netanya also has a rich cultural scene. The city is home to a variety of museums and galleries, such as the Beit Yad Lebanim Museum, which offers a glimpse into the history of the area. You can also explore the city's various art galleries, showcasing the works of local artists.
