Santa Maria Navarrese is a coastal and tourist town, frazione ('district') of the municipality of Baunei, in the province of Nuoro, Sardinia. It is located about 150 km north of Cagliari and 160 km south of Olbia, in the middle of the Gulf of Arbatax.

As soon as you arrive in Santa Maria Navarrese, you’ll be struck by the town’s relaxed and welcoming vibe. This is a place where you can truly unwind and enjoy the simple pleasures of life – think long, lazy days spent on the beach, sipping coffee in a traditional Italian café, and exploring the winding streets of the old town.

One of the town’s main attractions is its beautiful beach, which stretches for over a kilometre along the coast. The crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean are perfect for swimming, snorkelling, and diving, while the soft sand is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore the coastline from the water.
