Casale Il Caggio

Set in the Tuscan countryside 5 km from Monte San Savino, this family-run country house offers rustic-style rooms and self-catering apartments. The estate features a summer outdoor pool, hot tub and large garden.

Casale Il Caggio has been awarded 3 ears of wheat, a system similar to the star classification for hotel. Accommodation has traditional terracotta floors and wood-beamed ceilings. All rooms have a private bathroom, while apartments include a kitchenette with microwave and dishwasher.

Homemade cakes are served for breakfast at Il Caggio, along with freshly brewed coffee or tea. The owners run cookery classes on request.

You can go horse-riding at the Le Fogliarina stables, just 6.5 km from the estate. The A1 Motorway linking Florence and Rome is just a 12-minute drive away.
