Cologin’s chalets, lodges and private houses offer attractive self-catering accommodation in the Highlands, less than 3 miles from Oban on Scotland’s west coast. Surrounded by the green hills of picturesque Lerags Glen, there is free parking and a country pub on site.

All of the non-smoking properties on this family-run farm site have fully-fitted kitchens, a dining area and a living room with a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels. There is also free unlimited WiFi throughout.Please note this is a rural connection and you will not be able to stream anything on our wifi. It is strong enough to check emails and messages but anything else it will struggle. We offer good free wifi in the Barn Bar where you can bring your laptop, have a coffee and do what you need to but this will only be available during the Barns opening hours. Cosy bedrooms are complemented by a bathroom with shower or bath. Towels and bed linen are supplied in the five-bedroom farmhouse, and bed linen is provided in the chalets and lodges.

In addition to The Barn Bar, the site has a children’s play area, fishing loch and a duck pond with friendly ducks, and chickens too.

Nearby Oban has become known as Scotland’s seafood capital, and is home to many restaurants, cafés and coffee shops. There are many small craft shops and some well-known stores, as well as ferry crossings to the Isle of Mull.

Cologin Farmhouse is the only property at Cologin with a private hot tub.

Oban is a resort town and seaport in the west of Scotland, within the Argyll and Bute council area. Although small, it is the largest town between Helensburgh and Fort William. Oban has a population of 8,000 (2022), which rises to over 24,000 during the tourist season. Oban is on the Firth of Lorn. The bay forms a near-perfect horseshoe, protected by the island of Kerrera and, beyond Kerrera, the Isle of Mull. To the north are the long, low island of Lismore and the mountains of Morvern and Ardgour.

Oban is a beautiful town that is well-known for its fantastic seafood, picturesque landscapes, and charming architecture. The town is situated on the shores of the Firth of Lorn, and it is often referred to as the "Gateway to the Isles," as it is a popular departure point for ferries to the nearby islands of Mull, Iona, and Staffa.
