Monroyo or Mont-roig de Tastavins is a municipality located in the Matarraña/Matarranya comarca, province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 324 inhabitants.
Monroyo is a small town with a population of just over 500 people, but it is full of history and character. The town dates back to the 12th century and is home to medieval architecture, including the impressive Gothic church of Santa Maria la Mayor. The town's castle, which was built in the 13th century, is also a must-see attraction.
