Discover Concordia

Photos, information and travel guides for your stay.

Concordia is a small town with a big heart. As WE walked around the streets, WE were struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that permeates the community. From the friendly locals to the quaint shops and restaurants, Concordia exudes a sense of peace and contentment that is hard to find in today's fast-paced world.

One of the highlights of our visit to Concordia was the National Orphan Train Complex. This museum is dedicated to the thousands of children who were transported from the East Coast to the Midwest in search of a new home during the late 1800s and early 1900s. It was fascinating to learn about the history of this movement and to see the artifacts and documents that have been preserved over the years.

Another must-visit attraction in Concordia is the Brown Grand Theatre. Opened in 1907, this historic venue has been restored to its former glory and now hosts a variety of shows and performances throughout the year. From live music to theater productions, there is always something happening at the Brown Grand.
