The only resort in Maldive's Faafu Atoll, Filitheyo Island Resort is surrounded by tropical greenery and beautiful coral reefs. It has an outdoor infinity pool, pampering spa and on-site dive centre.
Built on stilts, spacious air-conditioned villas feature thatched roofs and a private wooden terrace with day beds. A flat-screen TV, CD player and minibar are included in all villas.
Werner Lau Diving Centre offers professional courses for guests, while Filitheyo Spa provides relaxing body massage. Guests can also enjoy windsurfing, canoeing or volleyball by the beach.

Filitheyo is an island in the Faafu Atoll. It is also home of one of the newer resorts in the Maldives; as of March 2021, Filitheyo Island Resort is the only resort operating in the Faafu Atoll, but three islands have since been leased for tourism development. Launched in 1999, the resort consists of 125 guest bungalows along with a main restaurant, two bars, a Thai spa and a dive school. In May 2022, the resort was cited by the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority for having not paid their dues to the state as rent for resort islands.
Filitheyo is located in the North Nilandhe Atoll and is surrounded by turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and lush greenery. The island covers an area of just 9 hectares, making it a cozy and intimate destination. The resort on the island offers a range of luxurious accommodations, from beach villas to water villas, all designed to provide the ultimate comfort and relaxation.
One of the most attractive features of Filitheyo is its incredible underwater world. The island is home to a vibrant coral reef, which is home to a variety of marine creatures such as sharks, rays, and colorful fish. You can explore the reef through snorkeling or diving, and the resort offers several diving packages for both beginners and experienced divers.
