GRASSE charming house in absolute calm

Grasse is the only subprefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region on the French Riviera.

First of all, let's talk about the town's perfume-making heritage. For centuries, Grasse has been home to some of the most prestigious perfume houses in the world. You can visit the Fragonard Museum and Factory to learn about the history of perfume making and see how it is made today. You can also take a guided tour of the Molinard Perfume Factory, where you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the process of creating a perfume.

But Grasse isn't just about perfume - it's also a place of outstanding natural beauty. The town is surrounded by rolling hills covered in fields of lavender and jasmine, which are harvested for their essential oils. The best way to experience this stunning scenery is by taking a hike through the countryside. You can also visit the Parc Naturel Regional des Prealpes d'Azur, a protected area that is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna.
