Discover Split

Photos, information and travel guides for your stay.

As WE explore Split, YOU will discover the city's fascinating mix of ancient Roman architecture and modern Mediterranean flair. The city's most famous landmark, Diocletian's Palace, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and offers a glimpse into the past with its intricate stonework and stunning views of the Adriatic Sea.

But Split is more than just historic ruins. The city is filled with vibrant markets, charming cafes, and a bustling harbor that is perfect for a day of sailing or lounging on the beach. And for those looking for a bit of adventure, Split is surrounded by stunning natural beauty, including the nearby Krka National Park and the stunning Plitvice Lakes.

When it comes to food, Split does not disappoint. With its location on the Adriatic, seafood is a must-try, and the city's famous dish, black risotto, is a must-taste. But don't worry, there are plenty of options for every palate, including delicious Mediterranean cuisine and local wines to wash it all down.
