Set in a former Brewery workers cottage built by Lord Northbrook in 1843, Hang Your Hat is situated in Winchester and offers accommodation with a private courtyard garden, free WiFi and a log fireplace. Winchester city centre is a 5-minute walk from the holiday home and features a historic cathedral and award-winning restaurants and pubs nestled within the oldest high street in England.
Guests will benefit from a suite with 600-thread Egyptian cotton linen, a Hammam style steam room with scented candles, and Sky TV channels. The private courtyard features stone cut over 1000 years ago; part of a mullioned window of Hyde Abbey, the resting place of King Alfred The Great, whose bones are now thought to be buried in the local churchyard of St Bartholomew's.

Winchester is a cathedral city in Hampshire, England. The city lies at the heart of the wider City of Winchester, a local government district, at the western end of the South Downs National Park, on the River Itchen. It is 60 miles (97 km) south-west of London and 14 miles (23 km) from Southampton, its nearest major city. At the 2021 census, the built-up area of Winchester had a population of 48,478. The wider City of Winchester district includes towns such as Alresford and Bishop's Waltham and had a population of 127,439 in 2021. Winchester is the county town of Hampshire and contains the head offices of Hampshire County Council.
