Kenmare is a town in the south of County Kerry, Ireland. The name Kenmare is the anglicised form of Ceann Mara, meaning "head of the sea", referring to the head of Kenmare Bay.
Kenmare is nestled in the heart of the Ring of Kerry, surrounded by lush green hills and scenic landscapes. The town itself is small and quaint, with a population of just over 2,000 people.
