Set in a late 1800s wooden building, this countryside hotel is in Hindseter, 60 km from Otta. The hotel restaurant serves Nordic cuisine with local produce. Hindsæter has a wellness area, plus views of the Jothunheimen Mountains and Sjoa River.
The rooms have a private bathroom with a shower. Binoculars can be borrowed from reception to try wildlife-spotting from the bedroom window.
