Acapulco de Juárez, commonly called Acapulco, is a city and major seaport in the state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico, 380 kilometres (240 mi) south of Mexico City. Located on a deep, semicircular bay, Acapulco has been a port since the early colonial period in Mexico's history. It is a port of call for shipping and cruise lines running between Panama and San Francisco, California. The city of Acapulco is the largest in the state, larger than the state capital Chilpancingo. Acapulco is also Mexico's largest beach and balneario resort city. Acapulco de Juárez, Guerrero is the municipal seat of the municipality of Acapulco, Guerrero.

As you explore this vibrant city, you'll be mesmerized by its stunning natural beauty. The beaches here are some of the most beautiful in the world, with crystal-clear waters and soft, white sand. Whether you're looking to sunbathe, swim, or surf, you'll find plenty of options in Acapulco.

One of the most famous attractions in Acapulco is the La Quebrada Cliff Divers. These brave divers jump off a 130-foot cliff into the ocean below, and it's a truly breathtaking sight to behold. You can watch the divers perform their incredible feats from a viewing platform, or you can book a tour to see them up close.
