Hotel Aldeia da Praia

Ilhéus is a major city located in the southern coastal region of Bahia, Brazil, 211 km south of Salvador, the state's capital. The city was founded in 1534 as Vila de São Jorge dos Ilhéus and is known as one of the most important tourism centers of the northeast of Brazil.

As soon as you step foot in Ilhéus, you'll be greeted with the charming colonial architecture that lines the streets. The city's history dates back to the early 16th century when the Portuguese first arrived in Brazil. As a result, you'll find several historical landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. Sebastian, the Bar Vesuvio, and the Jorge Amado House of Culture.

One of the biggest draws of Ilhéus is its stunning beaches. The city is home to over 80 kilometers of coastline, and each beach has its unique charm. If you're looking for a more secluded spot, you can head to the Praia do Norte or the Praia dos Milionários. On the other hand, if you want to experience the bustling energy of the city, then the Praia da Avenida is the place to be.
