Offering free underground parking and free spa facilities, the Hotel Ambassador was renovated by star architect Ali Tayar in 2013, and is situated in a quiet area, 7 minutes by public transport from Bern’s city centre. All rooms at Hotel Ambassador are air-conditioned. They either offer views of the countryside and the Gurten Mountain or Bern's Old Town, with the Federal House of Parliament and the Bern Minster in the background.

There are 2 different restaurants: Taishi, which is a Japanese Teppan-Yaki restaurant, and the panoramic Le Pavillon Restaurant, which serves seasonal international cuisine.
