Genk is een stad met rol als centrumstad in de Belgische provincie Limburg. Het is de hoofdplaats van het kieskanton en het gerechtelijk kanton Genk. De stad telt meer dan 68.000 inwoners en is een van de belangrijkste industriële steden van Vlaanderen.
