Le Lavandou is a seaside resort town and commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France. Le Lavandou derives its name either from the flower lavender that is prevalent in the area, or more prosaically from the local form of the Occitan name for lavoir, lavandor.

As you wander through the streets of Le Lavandou, you'll be greeted by colorful buildings and stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. The town has a rich history, dating back to the Roman Empire, and you can explore its past by visiting the local museum or the ruins of the ancient castle.
