แอร์ลังเงิน บ้างคนท้องถิ่นก็เรียกว่า แอร์ลัง เป็นเมืองในรัฐบาวาเรีย ประเทศเยอรมนี ตั้งอยู่ทางตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือของเมืองเนือร์นแบร์คไปราว 18 กิโลเมตร มีแม่น้ำเร็จนิทซ์ไหลผ่านกลางเมือง แอร์ลังเงินปรากฏชื่อครั้งแรกในบันทึกของปี ค.ศ. 1002 ในชื่อว่า ฟิลลาแอร์ลังงอน ต่อมาในปี 1361 หมู่บ้านแห่งนี้ถูกขายให้กับจักรพรรดิคาร์ลที่ 4 และกลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของราชอาณาจักรโบฮีเมีย ต่อมาในปี 1402 หมู่บ้านนี้ก็ตกมาเป็นของราชวงศ์โฮเอินโซลเลิร์น และในปี 1810 ก็กลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของราชอาณาจักรบาวาเรีย
