Aci Trezza is a town in Sicily, southern Italy, a frazione of the comune of Aci Castello, c. 10 km north of Catania, with a population of around 5,000 people.
Acitrezza is known for its stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea and the iconic "faraglioni" rock formations that jut out from the water. Legend has it that these rocks were once thrown by the Cyclops Polyphemus in an attempt to stop the Greek hero Odysseus from escaping.
In addition to its natural beauty, Acitrezza is also home to a charming fishing village filled with colorful boats and local seafood restaurants.
