Orosei is a town and comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) northeast of Cagliari and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) east of Nuoro. It has 6,838 inhabitants.
As soon as you arrive in Orosei, you'll be struck by the town's old-world charm.
