The Khajurāho temples were built between 950 and 1050 AD by the Chandela dynasty and are a UNESCO World Heritage site. These temples are known for their erotic sculptures, but there is much more to them than just that. The intricate carvings on the walls depict scenes from everyday life, mythology and even some of the more mundane activities like musicians playing instruments.

The temples are spread out over a large area and are divided into three groups – western, eastern and southern. The western group is the most popular and houses some of the most beautiful temples like the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple and the Chaunsat Yogini Temple. The eastern group is further away from the main town and has a more peaceful and serene atmosphere. The southern group is the smallest and has only two temples – the Duladeo Temple and the Chaturbhuj Temple.

Apart from the temples, Khajurāho also has a few other attractions like the Raneh Falls and the Panna National Park. The Raneh Falls are a series of waterfalls that are surrounded by beautiful rock formations. The Panna National Park is home to a variety of animals like tigers, leopards, and crocodiles.
