Arezzo is a city and comune in Italy and the capital of the province of the same name located in Tuscany. Arezzo is about 80 kilometres southeast of Florence at an elevation of 296 metres (971 ft) above sea level. As of 2022, the population was about 97,000.

First settled by the Etruscans in the 8th century BC, Arezzo has a rich history that can be seen in its many museums and churches. One of the must-see attractions is the Basilica di San Francesco, which houses stunning frescoes by Piero della Francesca. You can also visit the Museo Archeologico, which has artifacts dating back to the Bronze Age.

Arezzo is also known for its beautiful piazzas, including the Piazza Grande, which hosts a monthly antiques fair. If you're a fan of Italian cuisine, you'll love the local specialty, la crescia, a type of flatbread that's perfect for a quick snack on-the-go.
