Discover Badalucco

Photos, information and travel guides for your stay.

Badalucco is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) west of Imperia.

As you explore Badalucco, one of the first things you'll notice is the San Giuseppe Church, with its stunning Baroque façade and intricate details. Inside, the church is equally impressive, with its ornate altar and beautiful frescoes. Another must-see attraction is the Oratorio dei Neri, a small chapel that is home to a series of paintings by local artist Domenico Piola.

But Badalucco isn't just about historic architecture – it's also a great place to indulge in some delicious Italian cuisine. The town is known for its olive oil, which is produced from the surrounding groves of Taggiasca olive trees. You can try the oil for yourself at one of the many local restaurants, where it's often served with fresh bread and other tasty local treats.
