Antalya is one of the largest cities in Turkey and the capital of Antalya Province, the fifth-most populous province. Recognized as the "capital of tourism" in Turkey and a pivotal part of the Turkish Riviera, Antalya sits on Anatolia's southwest coast, flanked by the Taurus Mountains. The urban population of the city is around 1.5 million, with a provincial population of 2,722,103.

As you explore the city, you'll be struck by its stunning mix of ancient ruins and modern amenities. One of the most iconic landmarks is the Hadrian's Gate, a well-preserved Roman triumphal arch that dates back to 130 AD. Take a stroll through the Old Town and you'll discover narrow cobblestone streets, colorful Ottoman-era houses, and charming cafes serving up traditional Turkish tea.

But Antalya isn't just a city of the past – it's also a vibrant, modern metropolis. Head to Lara Beach and you'll find luxurious hotels, trendy restaurants, and a lively nightlife scene. Or, if you're looking for a little adventure, head to the Taurus Mountains for hiking, skiing, and breathtaking views.
