Fendels is a municipality in the Landeck district in the Austrian state of Tyrol located 13 km south of Landeck on the upper course of the Inn River. The village was mentioned for the first time in documents in 1297. Until 1959 it was only reachable by cable car. The construction of a street helped the village to get connected. The main source of income is „gentle“ Winter tourism.

As WE explore this charming locality, YOU will discover a range of outdoor activities to enjoy, including hiking, mountain biking, and skiing. The Fendels ski resort boasts a variety of slopes suitable for all levels of experience, from gentle beginner runs to steep, challenging black runs. If skiing isn't your thing, you can still enjoy the snow by taking a snowshoeing or sledging tour.

During the summer months, Fendels transforms into a hiker's paradise. YOU can explore the stunning landscapes on foot, taking in the fresh mountain air and enjoying the peace and tranquility of the natural surroundings. There are several hiking trails in the area, ranging from gentle strolls to more challenging treks, such as the climb to the nearby Gachenblick lookout point.
