Ampudia is a municipality located in the province of Palencia, Castile and León, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 677 inhabitants.
As soon as you arrive in Ampudia, you'll feel like you've gone back in time. The village is home to several well-preserved medieval buildings, including the impressive Castillo de los Sarmiento, a 15th-century castle that dominates the skyline.
