La Maison du Bassin

Cap Ferret is a headland situated at the south end of the commune of Lège-Cap-Ferret in the Gironde department in the French southwestern Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The headland takes the form of a spit, which separates the Atlantic Ocean from Arcachon Bay. At the same time, the entrance to Arcachon Bay separates Cap Ferret from the resort town of Arcachon.

This charming seaside town is situated on the Arcachon Bay and is known for its beautiful beaches, oyster farming, and picturesque lighthouse. The town is divided into two parts, Cap-Ferret Village and Cap-Ferret Peninsula, both of which have their unique charm.

Cap-Ferret Village is the commercial center of the town, where you can find boutique shops, restaurants, and cafes. The village is also home to a bustling market, where you can purchase fresh seafood, local produce, and other artisanal goods.
