Las Galeras is a municipal district of the provincial capital Santa Bárbara de Samaná, Samaná Province, on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic, at the eastern end of the Samaná Peninsula, on Rincón Bay between Cabrón and Samaná capes.

One of the main draws of Las Galeras is its stunning beaches. Playa Rincon is often cited as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, with turquoise waters and powdery white sand. Playa Fronton, accessible only by boat or a challenging hike, is another must-see spot for its dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear waters.

In addition to its beaches, Las Galeras offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure. Take a guided hike through El Limon waterfall, where you can swim in the refreshing pool at the base of the falls. Or, hop on a boat to explore the nearby Los Haitises National Park, home to mangrove forests, caves with prehistoric art, and an array of wildlife.
