Las Adelas Chaltén

El Chaltén is a small mountain village in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. It is located on the riverside of Rio de las Vueltas, within the Los Glaciares National Park near the base of Cerro Torre and Cerro Fitz Roy spires, both popular for climbing. It is 220 kilometres (140 mi) north of El Calafate. It is also a popular base for hiking numerous trails, such as those to the base of surrounding peaks and glacial lakes, such as Laguna Torre and Laguna de los Tres.

One of the most popular tourist attractions in El Chalten is the Monte Fitz Roy mountain range. This range boasts some of the most spectacular peaks in the Andes, including the Cerro Torre and Fitz Roy. Hiking and trekking enthusiasts will be in heaven as they explore the numerous trails and paths that wind their way through this stunning region.

If you're looking for something a little less strenuous, then a visit to the nearby Lago del Desierto is highly recommended. This lake is a popular spot for fishing, boating, and swimming, and the surrounding forests are perfect for picnicking and relaxing.
