Nestled in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, Lastingham is a small and peaceful village that boasts a rich history and stunning natural beauty. With its quaint cobblestone streets, traditional stone cottages, and stunning views of the rolling hills, it's easy to see why Lastingham is such a popular destination for travelers seeking a peaceful and relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

One of the village's most notable attractions is the impressive Lastingham Abbey, which dates back to the 7th century and is one of the oldest Christian sites in England. The abbey is home to a stunning collection of Saxon and Norman stone carvings, as well as a beautiful crypt that is said to be one of the most atmospheric and evocative spaces in the country.
