Photos, information and travel guides for your stay.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southeastern France. One of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera, Saint-Paul-de-Vence is well known for its modern and contemporary art museums and galleries such as the Fondation Maeght, and for the 17th-century Saint Charles-Saint Claude chapel, which in 2012–2013 was decorated with murals by French artist Paul Conte.

When you arrive in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, you'll immediately feel like you've stepped back in time. The village is surrounded by fortified walls that date back to the 16th century, and the old cobbled streets are lined with quaint shops and artisan studios. You'll also notice that the buildings here are made from a beautiful golden stone that adds to the village's charm.

One of the highlights of Saint-Paul-de-Vence is the art scene. This village has been a haven for artists for centuries, and you'll find many galleries and studios showcasing both contemporary and traditional art. The famous painter Marc Chagall also lived in Saint-Paul-de-Vence for many years, and his former home is now a museum that you can visit.
