Carloforte is a fishing and resort town and comune (municipality) in the province of Sulcis Iglesiente in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located on Isola di San Pietro, approximately 7 kilometres off the southwestern coast of mainland Sardinia. It has 5,851 inhabitants. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia.

As you wander the cobblestone streets of Carloforte, you'll be transported back in time to a simpler era. The town's historic center is home to beautiful pastel-colored buildings, centuries-old churches, and quaint piazzas where locals gather to socialize.
