Douarnenez /dwaʀnəˈne/ è un porto bretone, comune francese di 15 452 abitanti situato nel dipartimento del Finistère nella regione della Bretagna. In lingua bretone, il suo nome significa territorio dell'isola. E dovuto all'isola Tristan, di fronte alla città, dove regnò il crudele signore de La Fontenelle alla fine del XVI secolo. L'isola dista 50 metri dalla costa e con la bassa marea è raggiungibile a piedi.
