Ventnor is a seaside resort town and civil parish established in the Victorian era on the southeast coast of the Isle of Wight, England, 11 miles (18 km) from Newport. It is situated south of St Boniface Down, and built on steep slopes leading down to the sea. The higher part is referred to as Upper Ventnor ; the lower part, where most amenities are located, is known as Ventnor. Ventnor is sometimes taken to include the adjacent older settlements of St Lawrence and Bonchurch, which are covered by its town council. The population is 5,567 according to the 2021 Census.

One of the main draws of Ventnor is its stunning beachfront. Whether you're looking to relax on the sand or take a dip in the sea, Ventnor Beach is the perfect spot. The clear blue waters and soft sand make it an ideal place to spend a sunny day, and there are plenty of amenities nearby, including cafes, restaurants, and shops.

If you're interested in exploring the natural beauty of the area, a visit to Ventnor Botanic Garden is a must. This 22-acre garden is home to a huge variety of plants from around the world, including rare and exotic species. You can take a guided tour to learn more about the plants and their origins, or simply wander through the gardens at your own pace.
