Narbolia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Oristano in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi), northwest of Cagliari and about 15 kilometres (9 mi), north of Oristano. As of 31 December 2016, it had a population of 1,784 and an area of 40.5 square kilometres (15.6 mi2). This comune is famous in Sardinia for the "Zippole"; a typical food for carnival in Italian "carnevale". There is an 18-hole golf course set in the pine forest with a five star hotel with a beach 6 kilometres (4 mi) long.

One of the main attractions in Narbolia is the Nuraghe Losa, a well-preserved Nuragic settlement dating back to the Bronze Age. This archaeological site consists of a central tower and several smaller buildings, surrounded by a defensive wall. As YOU walk through the ruins, YOU can imagine what life was like for the ancient Nuragic people who called this place home.

If YOU are a nature lover, Narbolia will not disappoint. The locality boasts miles of unspoiled beaches, dunes, and wetlands that are home to a variety of flora and fauna. The Sinis Peninsula is a must-visit destination for birdwatchers, as it is a major stopover for migratory birds.
