Mövenpick Hotel du Lac Tunis

Tunis is the capital and largest city of Tunisia. The greater metropolitan area of Tunis, often referred to as "Grand Tunis", has about 2,700,000 inhabitants. As of 2020, it was the third-largest city in the Maghreb region and the fifteenth-largest in the Arab world.

As you walk through the winding streets of the medina, you'll be transported back in time to a world of narrow alleyways and bustling marketplaces. Here, you'll find shops selling everything from traditional textiles to intricate pottery, as well as local cafes serving up delicious Tunisian dishes like brik and couscous.

But Tunis is more than just a historic city - it's also a vibrant cultural hub, with a thriving art scene and numerous museums showcasing the country's rich heritage. The Bardo Museum, for example, is home to one of the world's largest collections of Roman mosaics, while the National Museum of Carthage offers a fascinating look at the ancient Phoenician civilization.
