Mum's B&B

Vicenza is a city in northeastern Italy. It is in the Veneto region, at the northern base of the Monte Berico, where it straddles the River Bacchiglione. Vicenza is approximately 60 kilometres (37 mi) west of Venice and 200 kilometres (120 mi) east of Milan.

As you walk through the city's narrow cobblestone streets, you'll be amazed by the abundance of beautifully preserved buildings and monuments designed by the legendary architect, Andrea Palladio. Vicenza is known as the "City of Palladio," and rightly so, as it is home to 23 of his works, including the famous Villa Capra, also known as La Rotonda.

Apart from its architectural wonders, Vicenza also offers a variety of cultural experiences. The city's main square, Piazza dei Signori, is a bustling hub of activity, with street performers, cafes, restaurants, and shops. You can also visit the Teatro Olimpico, a masterpiece of Renaissance theatre design, where you can watch a show or take a tour of the building.
