Porto Matrouh Beach Resort

Marsa Matrouh is a port city and the capital of Matrouh Governorate in Egypt. It is located 240 km (150 mi) west of Alexandria and 222 km (138 mi) east of Sallum on the main highway from the Nile Delta to the Libyan border. The city is also accessible from the south via another highway running through the Western Desert towards Siwa Oasis and Bahariya Oasis.

As you make your way to Marsa Matruh, you'll be greeted by a stunning coastline that stretches for miles. The town itself is small and quaint, but it's packed with plenty of activities to keep you entertained. One of the main attractions is the Cleopatra Beach, named after the famous Egyptian queen who once swam in its waters. This beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing.

If you're a history buff, you'll want to check out the Rommel Museum, which is dedicated to the German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel who fought in North Africa during World War II. The museum is located in a former Italian fortress and features exhibits on the history of the region and the battles that took place there.
