Photos, information and travel guides for your stay.
Holzgau is a municipality in the district of Reutte in the Austrian state of Tyrol.
Nestled in the Lechtal valley, the village of Holzgau boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and is home to some of the most stunning natural landscapes in Austria. As soon as you arrive, you'll be struck by the quaint beauty of the village, with its traditional wooden houses, flower-filled balconies, and friendly locals.
One of Holzgau's most famous attractions is the Holzgau Suspension Bridge, which spans a dramatic 110 meters over the Höhenbach gorge. Crossing the bridge is an exhilarating experience that's not for the faint-hearted, but the views from the other side are well worth it. You'll be rewarded with a stunning panorama of the surrounding mountains and valleys, and if you're lucky, you might even spot some of the local wildlife.
